Keep it on the Download...

Man, North of America were such a great band. It was rad to catch them play a show at The Silver Dollar Room here in Toronto with Germans. It was February 26th, 2010...it's cold outside in February. Burr.

...while the show was awesome, before we checked out the show, we went to:

2- Duff's Famous Wings on College (558 College Street): Hands down, some of the best wings I have ever had. These are 100% just as good, if not better, enjoyed sober even though they went damn well with a pitcher of Rickards White. The Medium Hot and the Spicy BBQ were fan (waves hand in a faning motion) tastic.

...and now, I'm gonna go watch Wipeout. Big Balls.

It begins!

...well, it began a few month's ago, but I have been far too lazy to get this blog going. Basically, Chuck and I randomly choose places around Toronto to Drink / Eat. This usually coincides with a Show or other event, or just because we want something awesome to eat.

With that, let's see if I can remember where we have been over the past few months:

1 - Churchmouse & Firkin Pub (475 Church Street): Been here more than once, its close to where we meet when we go out for eats. I think the last time was on May 28th, 2010. Food here is good, but i think goes down better due to the beer. Not so sure the non-drunken experience would be as good. Wings are good (a little dry) but the flavours are decent. "The Big Poutine"was consumed and probably would have made me sick, had I not been enjoying the best Pitcher of Moosehead I have ever consumed (right after a free "Fucked Up / 100 Dollars" show at the Toronto Reference Library!). Filled with awesome pulled pork and messy as hell. So thick heavy...it reminded me of "Escape from the Prison Planet" by Clutch. Yeah, now I'll go listen to Clutch.

Good times.

...where else have we been?
